The setting of this book is New Orleans, Louisiana. The story mostly takes place at Uncle Steve's junky apartment home. The three friends travel in and around the city, visiting restaurants mostly meant for tourists and the little library and antique shop that Oliver and Sabrina own. The city is very crowded, with many supernatural enthusiasts walking in the small roads filled with stands and shops of many kinds.
